The Best Duct Work In the Industry
Spiral duct work is never the best ducting to use in a dust collection system. Keeping velocity at the right speeds and minimizing restrictions have made spiral ducting a thing of the past. With our quick fit ductwork, you can go screwless to reduce restrictions. And you can cut your labor time in half during installation. Our duct work’s quick fit clamping system allows you to easily assemble the duct work for your current project, and if you need to change it down the road, no big deal. Just unclamp where you need to and adapt accordingly. It’s quick and easy!
Duct Work for Concrete Dust
In the quarry, masonry, and concrete industries, significant amounts of silica dust are produced. If too much of this dust is breathed in, it can cause serious, even fatal, health problems.
There are two different types of duct work installed with concrete dust collection systems: hard-fixed duct work (made from stainless steel, galvanized steel, or rigid plastic) and flexible hose duct work.
For most industrial and commercial applications, air filtration duct work is made from metal, which lessens static electricity risks and static pressure loss.
The duct work we install is particularly effective and can be considered the standard for the removal of concrete dust. There are no screws, rivets, or flanges. Instead, the ducting is clamped together, which reduces dust hang-up points inside the ducting and makes installation, cleaning, and adjustments quick and easy.
Some of the processes that create the highest amounts of this dust are:
- Abrasive Concrete Blasting
- Concrete Grinding, Sanding, and Cutting
- Masonry or Concrete Hammering, Chipping, Sawing, and Drilling
- Concrete and Masonry Demolition
- Sand or Concrete Dust Sweeping and Blowing
Reusable, Adaptive Round Duct Work is the New Standard
Woodworking and concrete dust are just two examples of the air filtration solutions we supply and install. We use industrial round duct work, which can be reused, retrofitted, installed in half the time…and can be used with wet dust collectors and mist collectors.
Turn to Spartan Air for air filtration for hundreds of different industries and duct work in a variety of materials and gauges.
Even if you have an existing system, we can replace or repair its duct work. We’ll take the time to discuss our recommendations and your options with you—so why wait one more day to make your facility cleaner and safer? Contact us.
